Discovering the Western Soul: An Introduction to the Kara Love Collection
Hi love, I’m so glad you’re here!
If we haven’t met yet, I’m Kara—photographer, mama, horse girl, and lifelong lover of the West. The Kara Love Collection started not as a brand, but as a deeply personal promise: to never forget a single moment of my daughter’s life.
What began with tiny hands and morning light turned into something much bigger—a visual archive of presence, emotion, and wild beauty. My camera became my way of staying rooted. Now, it’s how I tell the stories that matter most.
A Moment from the Field
One of my favorite recent shoots took place on a rustic Tennessee farm. The light was golden, the girls were kind and full of laughter, the cows wandered curiously, and the horses—of course—stood proud and steady like old souls.
Every ranch and farm I visit holds its own rhythm and history. There's something sacred in stepping into another family's land and seeing the love they’ve poured into it over generations. That day, I left with more than just photos—I left with perspective, gratitude, and a deeper understanding of why I do what I do.
“There is magic in Tennessee, and I’m so thankful to be able to capture it.”

Welcome to the collection.
This isn’t just a portfolio. It’s a love letter to light, land, and legacy. Whether you’re a mama, a rider, a rancher, or simply someone who feels deeply—this space was made with you in mind.
You can see more daily stories over on Instagram @karalovecollection, where I share the quiet, golden, dusty magic that’s unfolding every day.
What’s Coming Next
The first Kara Love retreat just wrapped, and it was pure soul medicine. In the next newsletter, I’ll be sharing sneak peeks and reflections from that powerful experience. If you’ve been craving more connection—to yourself, the land, or a like-hearted community—you’ll want to stay tuned.
Thank you for being here.
For honoring what’s real.
For remembering what matters.
With all my heart,

Photographer. Mama. Western Soul.
